Square or spread bore

Which design would be superior for TBI? If I remeber right, square bores are for high revving engines. Am I right?

spread bore seems wider which is probably better for the wide TBI. But.... my 7547 wieand is square bore and underneath the opeing it opens to be as wide as the TBI so when I put my TBI on it I will grind the overhanging ridge on the top of the intake and the sides should be the same width as the TBI
