alright there is this jerk I know who has a 1986 monte carlo witha 350, 650 holley and posi. He won't shut up about how I just have a little 305 and he can beat me. I have a 1992 camaro Rs tbi 305. Now the question do you think I can beat him? I was wondering maybe getting a chip but what ever I do I want to shut this *** hole up. I will probably race him pretty soon. not much time.

 

not trying to rain on your praide man, but i think the monte will get you.... do you have any mods to your car right now??? but thats just my oppinion...

 

uhm if your pretty much stock u aint gonna get him

if he has a very mild monte 350 with 2.73 gears and worn out suspension like my friend then it wont take too much to beat him

he has an iron manifold on it too hehe

but i just got a 350 roller(short block) and im debating what i want to spend my time on

from what ive read

3.42 gears or higher

full exhaust

might get him

cam and intake

should get him

heads and/or nitrous

blow by him

unless of course its like

a 350+ horsie and tight suspension, nuh uh

i think car craft(chp?) did that or something and got low 14's

and i dont think they beefed the suspension either

if it is then it already has 3.73 rear!
