I have a chance to get my hands on a 400 in good shape. Now, will a holley tbi fuel it? Or well I suppose a 454 one would since it fuels 454 cubes
.
Jusst want to know if it would work?

its been said that the holley or 454 TB will only fuel about 330 or so HP. something like that.

Hmmm, looks like I'll have to go carb. I'm looking for well over 400 more towards 500+ HP. Anybody have a good rear I can have

it will support a lot more than that. it is all about tuning though. jprevost is running a 330hp crate motor that he has tuned to put out even more crank hp than it is rated at and he is still well within the limits of the holley tb. i would say you cna easily support up to 425-450crank hp with a holley or 454 as long as you tune the ecm in properly.
