Could it have been the fpr or was it the injector? My wifes uncle had to replace his. When he took the top of the manifold off there was at least a quart of gas setting in the base of it. Talk about running rich. After replacing the fpr/injector assembly it runs great.

the first one just got all fouled out but the same thing happened to this one that happened to your wifes uncle. The compartment below the plenum filled up w/ gas because the assembly is leaking. All of that fuel eventually chokes the engine. What really burns me is that no one makes seals and what not to fix these friggin injector units. My only choice is to replace it.
