Is this really necessary?
An adjustable fuel pressure regulator..... I plan on doing mods to the engine, but is the one really necessary? Should it be one of the first ones?
I read that tech article about how making the fuel pressure 46psi will really give me a performance boost, but is that true for the TBI? And what will happen to my gas milage?

um if your gonna do mods id forget all about gas milage
it is not difficult and it is vary necessary. any mods you wi be doing add air to the engien, when you add air you need to add fuel. so unless you can burn chips an adjustable regulator is needed.
just look at teh DIY AFPR in the tech articles.
