cop car engines

I have the chance to pick up two tbi engines out of late 80s early-mid 90s cop cars. Is there anything special about them. Possibly different injectors or higher comp ratio, cams profile different? I do know the man selling said the motors were roller cam and flat top pistons. Thanks

They're probably LO5s. Not bad engines, but nothing to write home about either.

Engine: 5.7

Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 3:42

The L05s have higher flow injectors. The heads and cam are no big deal. The comp ratio, at least on my 93, is slightly higher only because of the gasket. It is a pretty decent 9.8:1 though.
