Q about TBI

My friend and I were discussing my TBI over lunch the other day (we were talking about implementing a multi-port batch fire system using the stock ECU). I was trying to figure out how my 93 9C1's ECU controls the two injectors. Does it control them as if they are one big injector? Or are they, well, sequential fired?

If it's TBI it fires the injectors alternately on every injection pulse, under normal conditions. During accleration or other special conditions it changes form that strategy.

Oh right, that's the Async reference on my scanner....I think during high rpm deceleration it goes to async. That's all I wanted to know I guess. Thanks.
