Went to go see about T5's and get my TH350. I just completed my 355 4 bolt. Ready to go in.
Problem is. . . My car is a V6 T5. I've the TH350 and a new B&M shifter sitting the garage ready to go. I was going to go Auto but
a T5 is $750 from a V8 thirdgen. And it's a $300 from a GMC truck. As long as it's from a GM V8 rear wheel car, can I use it?
I almost bought the GMC one but the guy didn't know.
I would really like to keep it a manual.
Also, do I have to get a new bell housing and all that? I know new clutch and flywheel, but all the other stuff?

i'm pretty sure the manuals in fullsize trucks were not T5s, they were either a new venture 3500 or 4000, both of which have a super low first gear like 6:1. i don't know the swap details for them. keep in mind your engine is a 26 spline and gm made 10 spline trannies also, i dont know what the NV trannies are. someone can chime in with the details.
