I bought a 91 Formula WS6 in perfect condition with 80,000 miles a few months ago for $5500, so the price seems a little high. Mine was completely stock, dual cats, oil cooler, etc. The mods you mentioned add some but how many miles? If it is less than 50,000 it might be worth it. My car ran 9.4 in the 1/8th mile with a 2.18 60' time. That was before I tuned it up, advanced the timeing to 9 deg btdc and added an MSD Blaster GM coil, airfoil and cold air intake. I think that comes out to be around 14.5 or so in the 1/4. Anyway I love the car, I think you could get it for a little less though, good luck, happy motoring

Geez, if it has 60,000 km (about 40,000 miles) and it can be had for $5500 US, and is perfect, and a TA and WS6, GIVE ME THE GUYS NUMBER AND ILL BUY IT, if you dont. Like I said, I think mine was a good deal. It was born and raised here in Houston, no rust and dang near perfect in and out and a Formula for $5500 US. I forget you guys use funny money there (just kidding). Anyway heres a pic of mine for comparison

The Borla Exaust and headers add another $700 or so (depending on the headers). What gears? Mine has 3.23 stock gear. I was thinking of moving up to 3.73 for racing.

Lets see a pic if you have one.

i got pics of it being developed, i have them tomorrow night and then i'll have to scan em. the car is red with really tinted windows with the gold wheels and stuff. the car is here in newfoundland (an island in canada) and so it would cost a good bit to get to houston. i'll post the pics when there done.

BTW; your car looks pretty sweet. and do you know roughly what kind of gas milage you get???(350TPI)

I really don't have a clue on gas mileage. The car is not an everyday driver, I usually take it out only on weekends (Ive got a company car forunately). I also have a 91 z28 with a 5.0L that my daughter and wife drive (that way they don't drive mine, hehe) and I drove it from Detroit to Houston when I bought it around Dec 01. As I recall it got about 20-24 mpg on the highway, not too bad. The firebird mileage has to be worse, but whatever I report would be screwy anyway because when I take it out Im usually stomping the accelerator to the floor every few minutes because its so much fun. Obviously a 5.0L with 2.73 gears would be better for highway driving and gas mileage, but the car does sound very nice.

Heck man youve already got a cruiser with your Z. Do what I did and get the Firebird for a race car and damn the gas mileage.

Happy Motoring

Buddy of mine got 27 mpg on the highway with 2.73 gears back when the motor was a little fresher than it is now. Find out what gears it has that will effect your highway milage the most, but prolly won't mess with the city milage much.

I hope you're not planning on selling your 1LE!!! A 305TPI 1LE could run with a 350GTA stock for stock.
