fuel pressure question

recently, my car (92 LT1 vett)just strted running really rich (BLMs 108) then it will stall, and I've been trying to debug the problem, with the help of other forum members. My question is the following :

When you hook up a fuel pressure gauge, and start the motor and let it run for several minutes, should the fuel pressure immediately drop after you shut the motor off, or should it hold ? I noticed that there are times that as soon as I shut the motor down it immediately drops to zer, and other times t does not. could this be my regulator ??

any input would be appreciated.

thanks,
joel

Should hold for quite a while.

yeah, i just finished talking to the local chevy service shop, and he mentioned, that it should hold for awhile. so i'm off to buy a new regulator. i hope this fixes the problem.

thanks,
joel
