Burning oil... out the manifolds?

Ok, maybe one of you can shed some light on this problem...
I replaced the valve cover gaskets on my 305 tpi motor today.
The covers are sealed up great now, no leaks there... no leaks visible from the pressure sender either. I put it up on the lift at work and it appears there's a decent amount of oil running out around the exhaust manifold on the two rearmost cylinders! I'm thinking this problem is more noticeable when idled for awhile, as i've never really seen smoke while driving.

When i had the covers off there was a decent amount of sludge in there (130k) but i was able to stick a screwdriver into the oil return holes, so theyre not completely plugged. Any ideas/insights would be appreciated as i'll be taking a long trip soon... 1200 miles back to NY from FL. =)

If you aren't burning oil and it's not the valve covers then I suspect the oil is leaking out the lower head bolt holes.
