Steering colum need to break or something
I got this camaro that im taking the engine out of and its locked in park and the steering wheel is locked also. I have no keys for it so is there anyway i can get the wheel to turn and how to get it out of park
If you're removing the engine, you'll have to raise the car. As long as you're under there, remove the shift linkage at the transmission and disconnect the steering column elastomeric "doughnut" joint to free the steering.

Your going to have to replace the lock cylinder anyway so you might as well pull the column apart and get it out now. You are going to need a steerig wheel puller and a way to get th theft deterent plate off. They make a tool for the plate but i just push really hard and have a friend dig the C-clip out. Once you get into the column you'll see a bolt that locks the lock cylinder in. Remove the bolt and the lock cylinder will slide right out. You can put in a new one or just use a pair of plyers to turn the mechanism. It sounds harder than it really is. Or you can use the BFH hammer methode where you bust the plastic right above where the lock cylinder is and get to the bolt that way.
