who's done the serpentine belt conversion on older v-belt setups?
I need to know what pulleys to get for this conversion. I'm thinking that I should get the crank pulley from an 86 or 87 truck. What about ones from an 86 or so camaro or firebird? It needs to have a v-belt groove in the back of the crank pulley for the power steering pump and a serpintine for the water pump and alternator. I'm sick of twisting the belts at high rpm.

I got mine off a 91 305 at the salvage yard, took the whole setup, the setup off any truck will not fit, it hits the hood, it has to be off a f body or a vette, and there are multiple combinations depending on the year, some have complete serpentine sets and others are a v-belt/serpentine combo, so make sure it's all off the same car, also I was able to press the old PS pulley off and put it on my current one(the one off the 91 was seized, and I was also able to swap the alternator pulleys as mine is a 200 amp one
