Bad motor mounts???

In my '91 RS Convertible with 5-speed...
When I start off in 1st gear the gearshift **** rises about 1 1/2 inches, then settles back down. I'm thinking one or more of my motor mounts have gone bad. Any opinions???

trans mount, do you get a clunk sound from the rear trans area? buy an ES poly mount

Engine: 350ci Sportsman heads, B&M blower

Transmission: Turbo 350

And possibly a trans mount.Pop the hood and rev it up to see how much the motor moves.
