Do I need this???
Since I have a factory 2.73 gear set, I should have a 17 tooth drive gear(red) and 37 tooth driven gear(red), speedo gears. I am installing 3.23 gears and just planned on changing the driven gear to a 44 tooth driven gear. (Dark Gray). Correct me if I am wrong, but that sounds right? Anyway, do I need the sleeve that is shown in the FAQ, along with the part numbers. Thanks!

bowtie, i dont have the answers you're looking for but when changing speedo gears do you have to change the gear in the tail shaft along with the small gear that goes to the cable?
