What can you tell me about the motor, where does it need the most work? I might be getting a burned up one as a project motor. I know it's a carbed motor, thats about it...

If I were to put one with a mild street cam and some mildly ported stock heads, with a TH350 behind it, what should I expect to see in the 1/4 if it's running well (and suppose I hook)? I'm thinking 13's?

 

The motor I'm building was from a 1980 vette. Stock it made a whopping 190 hp. The only thing that I'm reusing is the block.

 

You'll hit 13s. Instead of porting the crappy stockers, maybe look into some GMPP Vortec heads or World Products S/Rs. You'll make some more power with those heads.
