Ya, white with ashey deposits.flakes would say lean. Also, lately I've heard about alternative fuels that make the plugs look like they've been in a lean condition.

its very difficult to read plugs with day-to-day street drving
especially with unleaded. Plugs just don't color the same. Whats it drive like?
drive fine doesnt miss or anything i have a brand new hypertech coil, cap, and rotor and bosch platinum plugs new crappy wires (getting accell or MSD soon) WOT does feel kinda wierd compared to what it used to i think it might be running lean at WOT but im not sure the plugs are only 6 months old maybe
oh yeah also my valve seals are going bad so oil does get into the combustion chamber when first started up...think this has something to do with it?

A light tan/white coloring overall is a good thing. Pure white, almost to the point of blistering, can be a sign of high heat and/or a lean condition. How many miles are on the plugs? If you have less than a couple thousand miles on them, I wouldn't be too concerned at this point.
