Transmission: TH350

Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi with spacer

Whats the Difference?

I have seen different rebuild kits for the 305 cid engine, ones with flat-top or dished pistons, but they say they are not for the LU5 CFI 305 cid. I would like to know what the difference is? is it just the compression ratio or is it the intake gasket?

A "rebuild kit" should include pistons, rods, rings, bearings, etc. If you get a kit with dished pistons, you'll have a lower compression ratio.
