upper radiator hose??

begging the moderator's forgiveness I have to ask the following question...

saw this on ebay, seems pretty cool, note it is NOT my car, I don't know the seller:

Now is it just me or is that upper radiator hose about to blow?! I have never seen a hose look like that before??!! What's the deal?

Looks very strange. If you look at the end attached to the radiator, it looks like it's about to go as well. That's a sure sign of neglect 9 times out of 10. Looks clean other than that - it's rare to still have that belt routing sticker and the part attached to the runners that holds the throttle cables.

No sh*t, I didn't even realize there was supposed to be a part on the runners that held the throttle cables. Mine's sure missing
