yeah that was my mistake. It was a 779 not 799. So a 366 huh? thats a weird one. Are they worth to build up? Can they bored and stroked at all?

It's got the 3.76" stroke but puny 3.935" bore. There isn't enough meat to bore it beyond the standard .060" over. Tall deck means it used 3 compression rings (a truck thing).
The stroke is the same as 396/402/427, so with rebalance, the crank may be reusable (to be honest, I'm not sure the journal sizes are the same). The rest is a good start on a boat anchor.

I thoguht so I just wated to make sure I got another BBC I susect to be a 366 I want to get teh code and check that as well.
