Is it my Distributer??????HELP
i still have no spark...coil is new, igintion module is fine, the thing inside the distributer that plugs into the ignition module (tires cant remember what its called) was messed up bad replaced it and still nothing....could it be the distributer itself?
everythings hooked up...the distributer is pretty rusted inside and does give alittle resistance when your trying to turn it...i dont have any clue how to tell if its good or bad or what...if its bad im going to go ahead and buy a edelbrock carb intake and HEI distributer and use the 600cfm qjet i have for now and go carb...im tires of all that electrical bull**** plus im probably getting a brand new lo5 to put in the car in a couple months and no way am i sticking TBI on it...id like some performance from it

I'll make a long story short. Just last week I wasn't getting any pulse to the injectors or spark. I took the ignition module out and had it tested, it tested "GOOD" so I racked my brain for 3 more days trying to figure it out so I then decided to replace the ignition module anyway and low and behold it started right up. So the moral of the story is, just because it tested "good", doesn't really mean it is.
moral of my story is DONT BUY HYERTECH crap...brand new 50k coil went out....lasted two months...i didnt even consider it to be that because no way did i think that it was dead already...oh well the pickup needed replaced BAD it wouldnt have lasted much longer and now i have a timing light so
