milodon gear drives

i am lookin at purchasing a milodon gear drive The 3 gear style Will this still interfere with the knock sensor on my engine. The way im thinkin it might not cuz its fixed and doesnt float like the 4 gear types..thus it wont hit the block when the engine is running causing the knock sensor to retard the timing. anyone have this in there car??? its a bit expensive and i was told that all vibration will shorten the life of the cam??? is this also correct??

IIRC the good set from Comp is about $60. Or, they package cam only, or kits with cam plus lifters, or with that plus a timing set, or with pushrods and springs and retainers and keepers plus all the above, or even with their steel roller-tip rockers added to all that. Seems like it's about $100 less to buy it like that than to buy all those parts separately. I don't know details for sure, but several of the other major cam companies (Crane, Lunati, etc.) offer similar packages.
