I'm not even getting spark from the coil??

Chevy 350
MSD distributor
MSD Digital 6
MSD Blaster coil.

Box has power and ground because the light is on when the key is turned on. There's also the original battery wire to the distributor that is connected to the box's red wire, just the way I had it previously (when it actually worked). Then there's the 2 coil wires, connected to the coil.

Well, even though everything is hooked up, I can't even get the coil to spark. The coil isn't bad, because we tried it on my buddy's car and it worked fine. It isn't the box because I tried my 6AL and Digital 6 and no change. So what am I missing here?

Did you check to see if the ignition module was good.

Another guy just asked me that...I guess I assumed it was working properly because the distributor isn't that old.

Looks like that's what I get for assuming

Anybody know how much these things run? I forgot, I should really be asking, how do I make sure it's the module? I don't have a lot of money to throw around these days.

I believe that you can just pull it off and take it to a store like autozone and they can check it for you. As for the price. Autozone sells them between $25 for a Wells brand and $45 for a ACdelco brand. Good luck

DO NOT BUY THE WELLS!!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY WELLS! At least not if you have any type of performance aspirations!

I burnt up 3 of them in as many months. And anything above 2,500 rpm, it just sucked. And it was definitely the module!
