Impending Ball Joint Failure?

I have fairly new steering components on the front of my 86 IROC (all replaced within the last 2 years), and an entire new brake system up front (calipers, rotors, bearings, hoses, etc) and I still have a creaking sound in the front (pass. side mainly) Car does not pull at all under breaking or straight line driving. But under acceleration from a stop (easy take off) I hear a creaking sound, and some times when I hit a bump at low speeds. Does this sound like a bad ball joint? Now I had the ball joint changed on the drivers side a little over 2 years ago, guess I should have had the pass side done at same time huh, then I wouldn't be asking dumb questions in here.
Anyway , I plan on getting new struts and a front end allignment this week/weekend and was just wondering if this is something to add to the fix list. But like I said I have no drivability problems.
Also IROC's used different struts than Z28's and reg. Camaro's right? I just don't want to let the shop put the wrong struts on .

Doh! I listed this in the wrong forum. Sorry. Engine...Suspension what's the difference huh?

Sounds like it might be the A arm bushings creaking. Did you have them replaced? If so did you go with poly bushings? They creak a lot.
