Need help fast...need alum. cover for B&M Pro stick
Well went to install my Pro Stick shifter, and realized it'd be easier to take out the entire console and install it w/ just the aluminum cover.... however, when i ordered it, i got the shifter w/o the cover (thinking i wouldnt need it). So if anybody knows any online retailers that sell the cover separately I'd appreciate it. I know there is one for the Hurst Quarter stick (almost identical) at Jegs, but it appears to be quite different than the B&M cover. B&M's offices are closed today, so I would like find a retailer that i can order from and have it shipped tomorrow (dont get home from school and track practice until 5pm) instead of the next day. Thanks
...never mind... my stupid *** just found Summit has the cover separately. Sorry for all the commotion... i'm just *real* pissed off right now... My dad got the dumbass idea that my car needs to look "as stock as possible" (despite the fact i have a fockin roll bar and racing seats) so he is trying to install the shifter in the console. He claims w/ the cover it will look like trash... i say bull****, i have spare carpet and can rewire the window switches (hand brake will be removed since its not even connected) .To mount the shifter so the handle sits above the console, he got the bright ******* idea to put wood blocks as damn spacers. Now, when he went to mount the shifter cable to the shifter itself, he realized that by having it sit 2 inches higher, the angle that the cable comes through the car is too low to hook to the shifter.... SO..... he grabs the damn Sawzall and cuts a ****ing hole into my floorpans so theres a better angle for the shifter cable. I AM SOO pissed right now. So, to spite him, i just went and ordered the damn cover and once it gets here him ripping all of his **** out and installing it all how i want to, since it is after all my damn car.
And just to keep this tech related...anybody have suggestions for booby traps or anything i can use to keep my dad away from my car again??
