327 heads on a 350

Hey guys, I can get a set of rebuilt 327 heads for pretty cheap and I was wondering how they would work on a mild 350. Are they any better than the 333882 castings? Thanks for any info

They should bump up the compression being smaller chambers.

They're old technology and will make as much power as the runners will give you. They will work fine with a mild 350, make sure you get some hardened valve seats.

If you're getting these heads cheap then yeah go for them. If not try and obtain some heads from the 90's

Wow, what a deal. The 327 heads will improve your performance way over your 882 76cc castings. The 327 heads should be 64cc. The will flow as good as your stock 882, plus raise your compression. Do you know any details about these heads? big valves 2.02, or small version 1.94? and like iroc22 said, make sure you get hardened seats. Unleaded gas will tear up original soft seats in a hurry

If those are really 327 heads they more than likely don't have any tapped holes on the ends to mount your accessories to.

Yeah good point. You'll either need to tap some custom ones or get yourself a set of post 70 heads.

Some had the holes.....some didnt. either way you can work around it. As said they are old technology, they will limit you to 300-350 hp.
I say save your money and buy a set of aftermarket heads, Then you arent so limited.

The heads have 64cc combustion chambers, have been totally reconditioned, and are ready to bolt on. I'm not sure if they have the accessory holes or not. The guys wants $200 CDN for them, so they sound pretty good seeing as I only want 300-350 HP out of this engine. Thanks for the help guys.
