Best power increase

I just bought a 1988 Iroc, 350 TPI, auto... it supposedly has a B&M high performance tranny( I am uncertain about that) and a 2100 hole shot stall converter, and K&N filters.... that is the limitations of the modifications so far... I am wondering what would be the next few steps in making this a fast machine... I mean it is already quick, but my old iroc fan 12.9 and i wanna get back close to that.... but i did not really pay much attention to what was done to it, so a littel help, or a lot would be appreciated
Thanks alot

heads, headers, new intake, and everything that goes with it like cam, injectors, more FP, and then the suspension mods so you can put it all to the ground

Full exhaust should be first on your list. With out a free flow exhaust the engine will choke and not meet it's full potential. SLP makes the best headers, as far as cat-back, I like the Hooker, sound clip is in the signature. By the way, on higher HP engines it outflows flowmaster by about 7hp.

A set of after market heads a cam and free flowing exhaust would be the first things on my list, these seem to make the biggest improvements.

Another vote for the cam and head work (aftermarket or reworked stock heads). After that, the external "breathing" appliances, like induction and exhaust.
