69 Z28

I know this is not a 3rd Gen. question, but theres a 1969 Z28 for sale here for $6000. It has a rebuilt and supercharged 355ci, a 4-speed tranny and new gauges. Everything else is stock. Is it worth it? Paint and interior are PERFECT ( Mint ).

Sounds like it. Although the value of it being a Z28 is gone because it has a 355 in it now.

Sounds like a good deal to me, a guy I work with just paid 7500 for a 4-speed 69 Z/28 that had been a drag car, converted back to a street car and was in pretty rough shape, it had a cheap new paint job and a 350 engine made up out of lots of used parts. It dropped a valve about 2 weeks after he bought it.

If you have the money to spare , sounds like a SMOKIN deal to me.
Rusted out old body will go for $1-$2000 around these parts...thats without motor tranny...tires, you get my point...

i saw a ragged out 69 last week at a car show for 6500. i know it doesn't mean he got 6500 bur he was asking it. it had new quarters and fenders, missing all rubber seals, no engine or trans, no deck lid. i paid way more for my old car

i'd say check it over for major rust damage, but if it's none to mild... jump on it...thats cheap.

That sounds like a great deal to me. I'd check to make sure it's a real Z (if you're thinking of restoring it someday) cause even with a different engine seems like a good looking car like that would fetch more.
For any info on the first gens I'd check here: http://www.camaros.org/index.shtml
