Variable ratio rockers? Anyone seen this?

I got this link off the street racing board. http://www.hotrocker.com It looks like a neat idea but it also looks like it could be a big headache. Anyone ever used these or know of anyone who used them?

"gear" teeth to vary the rockers while in motion? I'd give it maybe 500 miles of hard use before it explodes under your valve covers.
If something like that were actually possible it would have been made long before now.

Actually the previous poster seems to be correct, these have been around for a couple years, and were reported to have durabilty issues. Allegedly they've been revamped to fix this problem, but ... . Just buy some Rhodes lifters and save your money for a good set of heads.
