help

ok.. i have this posted in the motor swap board as well, but im not getting any results.

Ok.. I want to ditch almost everything on the car(computer wise)... current setup is listed below. What is the best setup for the least $$ for me to drop in my baby? i need someone else's opinion cause i cant decide on rebuilding it stock dropping a 350 in it :lala: or a big block 454:hail: neways... i only have a couple months to get it running so the faster the project the better. Thanks.

Car: 89rs (previous 2.8)
Engine: 406
Transmission: 700r4 (for now)
the 350 swap would be pretty simple...the 454...

I'd buy a crate engine. What are your plans performance wise/drivability.

Then like ede said, get an intake/carb/hei distributor.

Not sure if you listed what car you had, if you have an auto, you'll also have to take care of the TC LU.
