intake problem Please Help!

Can someone tell me if the factory intake gasket on a 91 5.0 TBI motor has restriced water port on the rear of the motor? The gasket I used to rebuild the motor had a restircted rear water port (fel pro MS93317) and now my motor overheats. I also looked at the old factory gasket and it look like it was fully open.

not that I know of man they all should be open. If its not just cut it the same size as the port for the water.

I don't think it matters at all, no water flows through there. Look elsewhere to cure your overheating problem. Maybe you should try that new cooling board.

what do you mean no water flows though there how else does water cycle though the back of the motor. If no water flowed there then the water would stay put get hotter and fry the motor in minutes!
Anyone else have an opinion on this topic?
