car still wont start

car still wont start

well, i replaced the starter today but my car still wont start. i still hear a quiet clicking sound when i turn the key to start. batt is good, alt is good and starter is good. what did i miss???

Just had a similar prob. Try re-checking all your connections (on battery and starter/solinoid. Remove any corrosion etc. Run a search in this forum for "starter" or whatever for more info. There's a lot of posts about it. good luck

today i checked all connections on the starter solenoid and checked the distributor. everything seems ok. it still makes the clicking sound when i try to start it. are there any other connections in the ignition system that i should check?

also, the clicking sound seems to be comming from the carb...??
