Car smells after WOT

After WOT I get this smell that smells like sh*t. what could this be?

I hope you mean that figuratively, cause if it really smells like $hit, I have no idea.

Do you have cat? IF so, then that's probably the cat going to work and you're smelling the results which is sulfur. A rotten egg smell.

My Z does the same thing. I believe it is because I don't have the AIR pump plumbed into the cat. (the tube broke while taking the exhaust apart to do my engine mods and I haven't fixed it yet )

Is your AIR pump hooked up?

One time i was "testing" my speed govener. After about 15 seconds at WOT, i hit it just for like half a second, and man did that smell bad. Dual cats are were the problem for me.

Optimum operating temp for catalytic converters is like 500-1600 degrees. After a long time at WOT, they heat up really nicely and smell really bad when they get lots of unburnt fuel dumped in.

I have a Random Tech high flow cat, and the smog pump is not conected! Damn, I didn't know the cat would be what im smelling But im glad to finally know what it is, and that im not the only one. Thanks for classifing the "rotten ege smell" I didn't know what other way of saying it I don't want people to think I crap my pants when I floor it, (it's not the fast yet ) Thanks ya'll for your replys.
