Charcoal canister lines

Ok, it's an 89 Formula 350.

I was wondering where the lines go to on the charcoal canister. In the Haynes manual, it only shows 2 lines, so I'm a bit confused.

I've got two lines going into the solenoid. The top one goes to the TB, I'm assuming this is vacuum. The lower one connects to some kind of check valve that goes to a stainless line, I'm assuming that's where the vapors come from.

Also on the top of the canister is another line that seems to go nowhere. It's just an open end in the engine compartment. The previous owner did some funny stuff with the EGR, and I think he messed with the canister as well.

Thanks,
Alex
