timing question
hey guys i advanced my timing a few days ago and the car will haul a$$ under woth but at cruising speeds it seems to jerk back and forth if i decrease the timing it doesnt, but it doesnt seem to get up and go as good, what would cause that? i'm using wp heads and i dont think they're drilled for the egr sensor, i do have the egr sensor in there, but no other emissions.

Are you using a timing light when you adjust the timing, or just moving the distributor around?
If the latter, you're probably keeping your knock sensor busy. Use a timing light, and only adjust it a couple of degrees at a time. That isn't much movement of the distributor.
The WP S/R Torquer 305's don't have to be drilled for the exhaust cross-over passage.
