How hard was it to change? What needed to be changed in order to switch?

I have 273 rear in my car, and was looking to put 342 in it, so a solid .4 is expected? How much did it cost, what brand?
Aj

i had the borg warner 9 bolt rear end and i couldn't change the gears in that so i went and bought my self a 10 bolt rear with 3.42 posi i'd say about 500 for the 3.42 and labour but you have to remember you have a small carrier so you will have to change that to a series 3 for power it moves quite well i was expecting more than .4 for gas milage i wouldn't no because of i just put them in a week ago

i like to ask you did your cold air make a difference in the engines breathing because my car at full throttle seems to suck burn gas sounds like no air
thanks

Mine isnt to much of a CAI, just a nice intake set up , and DEFF breathes alot better, i still have plenum and runner porting to do,then eventually intake manifold..but deff buy a KN cone filter, had to move my battery to the other side to make it work, intially i got 14mpg,when i put it in, then about 3 weeks later, i think my computer relized it and im getting close to 17
thanks
Aj
