we have two tune port chevrolet cars one is a ta the other a camaro unsure of years.... both are maf cars

one will not start.... new maf new plugs weak fire... will only run if we spray start fluid in throttle body....



the other will start and run at idle will not drive down the road!! new maf in this car as well... codes read a bad maf????

You could try the tuned port injection board.

Are you still getting error codes? Typically, it is a good idea to inspect/test/replace the MAF power and burnoff relays whenever a MAF error code is encountered.

The first car sounds as if you have a fuel delivery problem. A quick fuel pressure test would answer that.

Need more information/decription on the second one, however.

 

the first car u mentioned about not starting unless putting start fluid in hte TB... i had the EXACT problem... the fuel pump was gone...

there isnt any fuel being delivered... check into that, i believe that it the solution to ur prob cause i had been there

 

I agree with Vader on fuel pressure on first car. does the car stay running after you spray fluid in it?

second car, when does it die, after you start driving or when it does into gear.
