Here's what it's doing. Ok, if I start the car up the morning, everythings good and I usually get abot 2 tenths of a mile to the main road and wait at the light, thats when i notice it. The car will be idling around 800-900, maybe 1000-1100 if the air is on and out of the blue the engine starts to shake and shudder like its going to stall and the RPMs drop and then shoot back up quickly. I thought maybe I had an arcing plug wire, checked for that, no problems. All the plugs and wires are about 2 months old, gapped correctly, all wires seem to be connected fine. The exhaust smells extremely rich so im losing spark somewhere.

It just gets me that it doesnt do it when the car is just starting up and doesnt do it when im cruising down the road, only when im stopped and idling.

Also, the car pulls no codes and the SES light doesnt flash when the car feels like its stalling, so whatever it is isnt setting off a code at all.

Information on the car... its a 92 z28, 350 TPI, auto tranny.. SLP 1 3/4 headers, 3 inch exhaust, BBK AFPR, MSD Super Conductor wires, A/C Delco plugs...

I had the same problem and just replied to another post in the TPI section. I would look at the IAC, pull it out clean it re-install it. Then set TPS and Minimum air and see if that helps.
