Evap. Charcoal Canister hose connections?

Can someone tell me where the connection labled "AIR" on the Evap. Charcoal Canister is supposed to connect to? I have an L03 engine. The Evap. canister has three spots for hoses. Two have hoses connected; 1 hose connectes just above the other. Then there is an open spot on the side for a hose that is labled "AIR" , that has a very loose fit plastic plug over the top. Is this supposed to have a hose on it and if so, where is it supposed to go? Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

Andy

Doh! I read in the Haynes manual that there are supposed to be three hoses coming off of the Evap canister. I only had (2). That's why I asked. I just looked at another Evap Canister in another car. That only had two also. Also a shop assures me that there are only supposed to be two and one open spot for ventilation. So where does Haynes get "Between 3 and 6 hoses" from? At least it is an error in the book and not in my car.

Most TPIs have four hoses at the EVAP canister, and a fifth one on teh take pressure control, right next to the EVAP.
