Put my new heads on now for the questions

I recently installed a pair of 58cc heads. Heres the site-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1837754361

Anyway, I have a bunch of questions/problems I need answers for.

First-BIG overheating problem. It used to be an issue but now with these heads its so bad I can't drive it more than 20 minutes! I figured it was the raised compression. The car already had a problem and I think this might have worsened it but I don't know.

Next, Will these heads perform better than my old stock 350 heads. they were 72 or 76 cc for 8.5 comp. LM-1 engine. I Definetely feel more torque and Throttle response but its not as strong past 5300. Smaller intake ports??

Third, horrible miss. Slowly started and now its hellacious. Could this be misadjusted valves? I cold adjusted mine. I did each rocker at a time. I made sure the valve was fully closed and tightened until there was resistance when spinning the push rod. Then I went another 1/4 turn. ??? I'm guessing this was ok. Its how I've always done them. The plugs are new bosch platinums (haven't checked them since heads were put on-1 week ago)

Forth, In a desperate rage to rid my engine compartment of wires I somehow cut the VSS wires and now I have no speedo !!
Could anyone offer this poor moron some advice.

And Lastly, I put a recurve kit in my distributor. I think I'm going back to the original springs. Even the blue is kicking in too early. I can feel it and its rediculously "choppy". Any comments on this.

Thanks
Brian

well if you hacked out wires damn good chance you cut something you need. check your timing, that may be your overheating problem, run the valves again, hot and with engine running.
