There was a post a few weeks ago about starting a RS TBI that sat for 2 years. I tried a search for it but came up empty handed. I spent a hour looking at all the thread titles to see if i can remember it.
In the post, Vader gave all these instructions on what to do if it hasn't run in awhile. I put attention to him cause he might remember it most. If anyone else does please feel free to link me to it.
My friend just bought a 83 Z28 that had a 350 dropped in to replace the LG4, and it hasn't moved out of the driveway in about 2-2.5 years. I am surprised theres still air in the tires. Front shocks are hard as a rock to, cant even compress them.
Thanx guys

2-3 years...
well the way to think about this is similar to new engine...
You want/need a mechanism to circulate oil before
the first start.
If your low on cash/expertise...
change the oil...
charge the battery...
pull the coil wire....
crank for a while, not too long here...
put the battery back on the charger
change the plugs
drain the gas
refill with fresh gas
look at the brake fluid...
looks like a stout bad ... flush, bleed, replace
looks like a pilsner good
put the battery in crank start/troubleshoot as necessary
