how much?
how much would you guys pay for a red 1988 IROC with the 350ci engine and t-tops, in good condition, and from the original owner. the only problem being some fading in the paint.

Book on that is $3,600, depending on the mileage and options, but a car in good shape will probably bring more than that.
To answer your question, though, I personally wouldn't pay more than $4,500 or $5,000 for a car that needs paint, depending on the mileage and options. I'd be much less for a car with 150,000 and probably more for a one with 30,000 miles.
That being said, I just saw one on Autotrader for $30,000...
