okay some of u guys may remeber me askin about the fuel and carb post ebfore. and u guys basiclly said it might be ingnition wise. well today i changed my spark plugs. i put ac delco plugs in and gapped them to .045. and well the car didnt miss at all yet. but i did break one of the plugs so i still have an accel plug in there until i run back to pep-boys to get a new one. also the car still acts up like ive told in the other post but not as bad. but now when i go to rev the engine it will lke bog or just like stop givin fuel for a second and then it will be fine. now what do u guys think. i have this felling that its still the fuel pump and possably the carb could be on its way out.

but when the car is in park and i give it a quick small rev it will like bog kinda and then be fine and if i try to rev aain it wont happen but if i hit it right it will bog. so if ya'll can help me again before tomarrow that will be great becuz tomarrow im thinkin of goin to go get a new Borg Warner fuel pump and see if that helps. thanx

i tihnk you need to tune your carb. i don't know much about the q jets or the edlebrocks. if it was a holley i'd say adjust the accelerator pump and cam

POS fuel pump?

 

well about an hour ago i just finished up installin my borg warner fuel pump and the last spark plug. and after everything was all bolted tight, i went gave the gas good pumps and then turned it over and the damn thing started right up on the first chrank. when it gotta little warmed up it sounded like it was still missin but not as bad. im also thinkin its just the exuast note. and like maybe just were the timing is set it could be givin me that distincted sound like its missin. what do u guys think.

i havent take the car out ofr a spin yet, im tired as hell from workin on the car and then the damn heat and humidity killed me.
