running to hot what gives?

i have replaced eveything on my cooling and still run hot 210-220 on hot day i jus put in a friends griffen radiator in and it still runs that hot ive got a edelbrock water pump i have my air dam but i jus order a new one i think im going to take my running light out to give it more air i have alum heads and i put 2 cans of 40 below in nothing seems to help im running 10.4-1 comp 383 any ideas?

That's not too hot, it's just fine. The stock cooling system doesn't even turn on the fan until 230 degrees; if the factory thought that it didn't ned cooling at all until that temp, then 10 t0 20 degrees lower is surely not too hot.

Have you checked your gauge?
