Need to hookup my electronic choke

Hey guys,

I just got done converting my cfi system to carb. I got the edelbrock 1406 600cfm carb with an electric choke, does anyone know where I can hookup the power so that it is only on when I turn the ignition key?

Thanks!

Ben

Yeah, any keyed, switched device in the fuse panel.....If the device works only when the key is on...it will work.

The factory E4ME electric choke was usually connected to ignition power through an auxilliary oil pressure switch, so the choke heater only operated when the engine was actually running. This proved best for cold weather operation.

Not sure what I hooked it up to but I found a red wire coming out of the fuse panel so I spliced it and hooked it up to that, seems to work just fine.
