Walbro 340 Fuel Pump and Hotwire kit

Anyone have any experience with this? Looks like a good pump. Is the wiring kit really needed? Does it help that much?

The 340 is the fuel pump I'm using in my GN, and I just installed another in the gas tank for my TPI swap Cutlass. The pump will flow enough fuel to get a TR into the tens. I wouldn't know about the hotwire kit on F-body's, but on the TR's they often boost voltage to the pump around 1-2 volts. You could always check to see what voltage you get at the pump and if you're getting a pretty big voltage drop get the hotwire.
