alright, my car smokes wheneve ri start it up and recently whenever i rev the engine. it seemed cool at first but i just want to make sure it doesnt mean something is wrong. n e on eknow y it smokes, or at least if its bad or not? thanx in advance

 

It's one of two things. Either the old SBC problem of worn valve guides or what it turned out to be on my 86 IROC. A couple of months back I pulled my plenum and runners to port/gasket match them. Anyway I read that sometimes the intake bolts can loosen enough to cause oil to seep into the intake ports on the heads. I tightened up the bolts (only the middle ones on each side were loose) that cured my problem.
