bad fuel pump
Try here. <form action="search.php" method="post"><input type="hidden" name="s" value=""><input type="hidden" name="searchdate" value="-1"><input type="hidden" name="beforeafter" value="after"><input type="hidden" name="forumchoice" value="13"><input type="hidden" name="action" value="simplesearch"><input type="hidden" class="bginput" name="query" value="change fuel pump"><!-- go button --><input type="image" border="0" src="images/top_search.gif"></form>You basically look up under the back of the car at the fuel tank, and see everything there in the way? All that's gotta come out. Good luck and don't sweat it. It's a time consuming job, but it's pretty straightforward. Give yourself at least 8 hours if you've not done one before. And hit all the bolts with penetrating oil the night before you do the job. You'll thank yourself later.
One thing I'd like to add, make sure you check everything else out before you start the job. Beleive me, I had the tank out and did all that work to find out the fusable link by the battery was fried. Check the link and the relay before you try to change the pump. It will save a couple of dents from a thrown wrench.
