I was just wondering what the biggest size BFGoodrich ta drag radial will fit on my stock 16"Z28 1991 wheels. Is it the 355 or will the 275 will work. Thanks.

what tire's do you have on it now?..basically the only thing limiting you is clearance..to give you an idea tho ..the numbers mean in order: first number-tire width in millemeters, second number -aspect ratio (percentage of the width that makes up the sidewall height), third number-rim diameter, so basically as your width gets larger, you wana make sure that your aspect ratio gets smaller..hope that helps

 

Yeah...I knew all of that. I am sorry. I should have phrased the question a little bettter. Does anyone have the 275's or the 255's with clearance problems. I would like to get some tomorrow so any input will help me a great deal. Thanks

 

I had 245/50/ZR16s on the front and 275/45/ZR17s on the back...it looked ****.

i have 255/50-16 kumhos on the back and they rubbed the inner fender i little bit; i fixed that with a few swings of a sledge hammer. its nothing massive, you cant even notice i enlarged it.
