good news!!!

hey for those who helped me with my question about the vacume test thanx. today i went out to put my new braided fuel line on and so i figured id do what a mechanic at work told me to do and test to see if the vacume was good. so what i did was take the line that was connected to the distributor and a line that ran somewhere dunno where. but i took it disconnected the fitting (t fitting) for the line to the distributor and the line that disaperres and so i took the line from the dist. and hooked it up too a vacume line from the carb. i was totally shocked when the car started to run a little higher rpm and the car was running smooth as hell. so i figured id put the vacume line back to the old one it was hooked up and then the car started to run ruff, so i put it back to the carb vacume line and it all smoothed out.

after that i sprayed sum carb cleaner and cleaned the carb out a bit and put everything back together. i just hope now that this fixes more than most of my problems.

ill find out tonight when i drive to the local car show and back. hoping that it doesnt act up like has done in the past.

also is it bad to have the vacume line for the distibutor hooked up too the carb? just wanna know so that i dont brake something else. thatnx everyone.
